Tenders for over hauling of 125
KVA DG set
Tender Conditions
1. Sealed tenders (in duplicate are invited
for the work of overhauling of 125 KVA DG Set at office building. The tenders
(induplicate) shall be superscribed in the name of the work and addressed
by name to Shri M.D. Dasari, Regional Director, Estate Department, Reserve
Bank of India, Jammu so as to reach him not later than 14.00 hrs on
09.05.2005
2. Tenders will be opened on the same day at
15.00 hrs in the presence of the participating tenders who choose to be present
during that time.
3. The Reserve Bank of India reserves the right
to accept or reject any or all the tenders, in full or in part, without assigning
any reason thereof. The Bank also reserves the right to accept or reject the
tender of any firm. They are also requested to use the enclosed proforma only.
4. The tenderers shall furnish earnest money
deposit in the form of DD from a nationalized Bank for a sum of Rs. 3000/
- favouring Reserve Bank of India payable at Jammu. The EMD of the successful
tenderer shall be retained as security deposit for due fulfillment of the
contract which shall be released along with the settlement of final bill subject
to the certification by Bank's Engineers.
5. The rates quoted shall be inclusive of all
taxes, duties, levies, transport, packing, forwarding, insurance etc. and
shall be for the complete work at site. The rate quoted shall remain firm
for the entire period of contract and shall not be subject to any variations
whatsoever be the reasons. However, octroi if any, shall be paid on actual
basis on production of the documents from the concerned government authorities.
6. The entire work shall be completed
in 21 days. Non adherence to the work completion schedule shall attract a penalty
of Rs.100/- (Rs one hundred only) per diem subject to maximum of 2.5% of the
tendered value.
7. Quantities mentioned in the BOQ are not final
and the actual work at site will be assessed after dismantling the DG Set.
8. The contractors shall inspect the site before
quoting the rates. Quantities are approximate and the actual quantities to
be assessed by the contractor before starting the work. Payment shall be made
on actual quantity used.
9. Payments will be released as under:
i. 95% of the quoted rate after overhauling
supply, testing and commissioning.
ii. 5% shall be retained upto defect liability,
i.e. warranty, period of one year.
10 Bank will not supply any
tool for the work.
11. Bank will not be responsible
for any accident during the work and only qualified technicians shall be deputed
for completing the work.
12. All materials shall be approved
from the Bank's Engineer before using. Defective/substandard material will not
be accepted.
13. Full guarantee for one year
after repair/overhauling.
14. Payment will be made on
the basis of actual quantity of work done satisfactorily.
15. Old parts after overhauling
will be handed over to the Bank.

Repair / Machining/Grinding/Lapping/ Boring/Calibration/

- Facing & Grinding of valve seat inset
to desired angle after replacement of new valve seat insert into inlet/exhaust
ports of the cylinder head.
- Lapping of new valve inlet/exhaust over
valve seat insert in the cylinder head of the engine.
- Pressing out wornout con rod bush from
the connecting rod. Pressing fitting new con rod bush into con. rod
& reaming to the size of gudge on pin-
- Pressing out wornout valve guide from
the cylinder head Pressing fitting new valve guide into cylinder head
as required.
- Fuel Injection Pump Repair/Overhauling
incl. Replaement of bearings, washers, plunger elements, delivery valve
and reassembiling after repair and callibration.
- Turbocharger repairs/overhauling
- Repairing & Flaring of Injector sleeve
in the cylinder head of the engine-
- Radiator cleaning/descalling/decarbonising.
- Strip Opening of injector. Decarbonising
of injector replacement of Multihole Nozzle and Calibration of injector
to recommended value.
- Servicing of starter motor (Self).
- Charges towards carriage/transportation
of different materials to workshops for repairs & back.
Charges towards repair of water pump.
Painting of complete DG Set & canopy including
providing and applying two or more coat DICO Paint of approved quality and
shade with the help of spray compressor machine as directed by Engineer
incharge. |
