| Date : 01 Jun 2005 | | Factors to be taken into account by the Central Government and the Reserve Bank while giving or granting permissions or licences under the Act |
76. Save as otherwise expressly provided in this Act, the Central Government
or the Reserve Bank, as the case may be, shall, while giving or granting any permission
or licence under this Act, have regard to all or any of the following factors,
namely:- (i) conservation of the foreign exchange resources of the country;
(ii) all foreign exchange accruing to the country is properly accounted for;
(iii) the foreign exchange resources of the country are utilised as best to subserve
the common good; and (iv) such other relevant factors as the
circumstances of the case may require.
