The Reserve Bank of India on June 22, 2007 has notified that no further purchases of equity shares of Mid-Day Multimedia Limited, should be made under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) on behalf of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs)/Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) through stock exchanges in India. The Reserve Bank has stated that Mid-Day Multimedia Limited., has reached the overall limit of 20 per cent of its paid up capital.
