In the Notification No.FEMA.46/2001-RB
dated 29th November 2001 of the Reserve Bank of India, Exchange Control
Department, Central Office, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary,
Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (i) vide G.S.R.4(E) dated 29th November 2001.
(i) In Regulation I, in clause (ii), for the words 'They shall
come into force with immediate effect', the words 'They shall come into force
from the date of publication in the gazette', shall be substituted and read.
(ii) At the end of the Notification, the following shall be
added :
'Foot-note :
The Principal Regulations were published in the official gazette
vide G.S.R. No.406(E) dated 03.05.2000 in Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (I)
and subsequently last amended vide G.S.R. No.574(E) dated 20th September 2001.
That as rectified and modified as aforesaid, the Principal
Regulations shall remain in full force and effect.

(i) in the title of the Regulations, for the figure '2001'
the figure '2002' shall be substituted,
(ii) in the short title, for the figure '2001' the figure
'2002' shall be substituted.
