Reserve Bank Staff College, Chennai intends to empanel highly reputed and capable car hiring agencies/companies for the purpose of hiring cars/utility vehicles of different variants for local and outstation tours of its Executives, staff and guests(hereinafter collectively referred to as ‘user’) on need basis for a period of nine months (Oct 01, 2018 to June 30, 2019), which can be extended further for a period of two years (up to June 30, 2021) subject to annual review by the College based on the performance of the Tenderers (Contractor). Reputed car-hiring agencies/firms/companies based in Chennai and having adequate capacity to cater to the College's requirement and also those who are providing cars on hire to at least one Government / Public Sector Undertaking / Public Sector Banks may collect the Tender Form/Application in two parts (Technical bid and Financial bid), having all the details, during working hours on any working day from the Protocol & Security Cell, Ground Floor, Reserve Bank Staff College, Chennai-600018 w.e.f. Aug 21, 2018 to Aug 30, 2018. The tender forms can also be downloaded from our website www.rbi.org.in under the head “Tender Section” w.e.f. Aug 21, 2018 to Aug 30, 2018.

Sealed Tenders are required to be submitted in two parts, i.e. Part I containing commercial terms, scope of work, terms & conditions, general instructions and Part II containing price bid. The Tender shall be prepared and submitted in sealed envelopes separately in two parts, viz, Part I and Part II clearly indicating on the covers “Part I – Technical and Commercial Bid" and "Part II – Price Bid", respectively. The covers shall be superscribed "TENDER FOR EMPANELMENT OF CAR HIRING AGENCIES/COMPANIES FOR PROVIDING CARS ON HIRE BASIS TO RESERVE BANK STAFF COLLEGE, TEYNAMPET, CHENNAI-18” addressed to The Principal, Protocol & Security Cell, Reserve Bank Staff College, 359 Anna Salai, Teynampet, Chennai-600018. The due date for submission of the tender is 1.00 PM on Sept 12, 2018 (Wednesday). Part-I of the tender will be opened in the presence of the tenderer / authorised representative, who choose to be present at 3:00 PM on Sept 12, 2018 (Wednesday). Date and time of the opening of part II of the qualified agencies would be intimated separately. The part II of the agencies which do not qualify/ satisfy the prequalification criteria will not be opened.
