Minutes of Pre-bid Meeting - Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 2 Nos. of 6 Passengers Lifts in the Bank's Sr. Officers Colony at Bank House and 1 no. of 8 Passengers lift at Dhanastra, Mumbai

The captioned meeting was held on January 02, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Meeting Room, Estate Office, 2nd floor, MRO. The list of participants is as under:

The queries raised by the vendors and our clarifications are attached as Annexure-1.

1 Pg 13 New support MS beams/ hooks for rope break test as per electrical inspector requirements shall also be provided by vendor. It has been clarified to execute the work as specified in the tender.
2 Pg 14 Scaffolding necessary for erection, and all minor builder’s work for cutting away and making good to walls and masonry work required, including repairs to plaster, painting etc. Further, all chase cutting and openings as required by the Lift Contractor and shown on his drawings, will be carried out by the Lift Contractor It has been clarified that Lift contractor shall carryout out all the front wall alteration including provision of architraves on three sides of lift door including lift photo frame as per drawing/ site conditions using 15 to 18 mm thick RBI Red (Lakha Red) granite on all floors for all three lifts.
3 Pg 69 The water charges @ 1% shall be recovered on gross amount of the work done. Water will be provided by Bank. No charges will be recovered from the bill.
4 Pg 96 PROVIDE NEW MACHINES BEAMS AS REQUIRED, NEW SUPPORT BEAM OF MS FOR ROPER BREAK TEST It is clarified that pedestal required for placement of beams is to be provided by Lift contractor.
5 Pg 97 Entrance type: VVVF CONTROLLED CENTRE OPENING WITH 2 HRS FIRE RATING It has been clarified that 700 mm width with side opening telescopic door is also acceptable.
6 Pg 98 PROVIDE NEW CAR AND COUNTERWEIGHT GUIDE RAILs All guide rails shall be of solid sections only.
7 Pg 98 PROVIDE NEW SPRING/OIL BUFFERS FOR CAR AND COUNTERWEIGHT Pedestal required for buffer is to be provided by Lift contractor.
8 Pg 104 Hands Free Operation to Prevent COVID 19 Calling using proximity switches BRAILLE MARKINGS ON ALL BUTTONS INSIDE CAR It has been clarified that two-separate button station shall be provided inside car (Proximity switches and Braille) one on each side.
9 Pg 107 It should be possible to provide an elevator management system (EMS) to monitor the performance of the lifts It has been clarified that EMS is not required.
10 Pg 109 Door Panels: Provide new steel, sandwich construction without binder angles. 1.5 mm thick SS 304 door panels are also acceptable.
11 Pg 109 Travelling Cables: Flame and moisture-resistant outer cover. FRLS cables without flame and moisture resistant outer cover is also acceptable.
12 Pg 110 Door Control Device: Provide New Infrared Reopening Device: Black, fully enclosed device with full screen infrared matrix or multiple beams extending vertically along leading edge of each door panel to minimum height of 2 M above finished floor. Full height IR curtain of minimum height of 1.8 M above finished floor is also acceptable.
13 Pg 109-110 Sills: Provide new manufactured of extruded aluminum It has been clarified to provide additional plate in the gap between lift car sill and landing sill is more than acceptable limit.
14 Pg 126 LD shall be levied depending upon overall actual extent of delays attributable to the contractor’s actions to a maximum of 10% of the accepted tender amount for the delayed/incomplete lift. It has been clarified that LD shall be levied @0.25% per week of contract value upto maximum 10 % of contract value for delayed/incomplete lift.
15 Pg 128 Workmen Compensation Policy for all workmen deployed at site It has been clarified that Lift contractor shall submit the policies as specified in the tender instead of Umbrella policies.
16     To provide IP protection to all enclosures so that water shall not enter into the enclosures. All cables shall be inserted in the enclosure from bottom side only.
17     If required, structural repairing to all lift shafts and water proofing of all lift pits shall be done by Bank.

2. All other terms and conditions of the tender remain the same.
