Shri Ravi Shetty, M/s RS Batteries Gist of the queries raised by the prospective bidders and Bank’s clarification on the same is as follows: 1. Provision for Testing of the Batteries? Clarification: As per the battery & UPS OEM technical data sheet & Ah requirements as mentioned in the tender document, batteries will be tested at factory/workshop using water load in presence of Bank’s Engineer. 2. What is FR Casing? Clarification: Fire Retardant Casing 3. Whether we can use the interconnecting cable? Clarification: Bidders can use the ISI FR copper cable matching the full load capacity of the UPS & batteries. UPS & batteries should not get any problem for the next three years. 4. What is the load running on your UPS and how much KVA is running? Clarification: Total load is 120 KVA but running load is 50- 60% of the total load. Both the UPS are connected in parallel and hot stand by. 5. What is the make of the UPS of 120 KVA? Clarification: Make – Legrand (Earlier – Numeric) 6. What is the periodicity of the maintenance, whether any down time taken during maintenance? Clarification: Periodicity of the UPS maintenance is monthly. Both the UPS are in PRS mode. No downtime is required, the AMC work is required to be carried out preferably on holidays. Separate AMC is given for UPS to M/s Numeric (OEM). The UPS vendor does the maintenance on monthly basis. After awarding the work, the bidder may coordinate with the UPS vendor for the maintenance. Batteries health check up to be done as per tender conditions. 7. Whether visiting of site is allowed? Clarification: Yes, the bidders can visit the site. 8. What is the work completion period? Clarification: Two months from the 14th day of award of work as already mentioned in the tender document. 9. Whether there is any specific make/ brand of the batteries? Clarification: Kindly refer the tender documents. 10. Whether the vendor should submit the authorized dealer certificate for participation in bid or OEM authorization letter is required? Clarification: Authorization letter from the OEM is required for participate in the bid and Service setup in Nagpur only. |
