The Reserve Bank of India today opened a Sub-office at Aizawl to take care of immediate needs of the State of Mizoram. The Sub-office was inaugurated by Pu Lal Thanhawla, Chief Minister of Mizoram and Dr. Raghuram G. Rajan, Governor, Reserve Bank of India. The Sub-office comprises Financial Inclusion and Development Department (FIDD), Market Intelligence Cell and Consumer Education & Protection Cell (for complaints).
