DSITC of 56 KLD Compact Sewage Treatment Plant for Reserve Bank of India Staff Quarters, Thamalam and 8 KLD Compact Sewage Treatment Plant for Reserve Bank of India, Main Office Premises, Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram – Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting

The captioned Meeting was held at 11.00 am on Friday, May 20, 2019 in the Conference Hall on the second floor of the Bank’s Main Office Building at Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram.

2. Shri Damodaran Thevally, AGM (Estate Department) invites queries from the prospective bidders regarding the captioned tender. The details of queries raised by the firm and clarifications / comments of the Bank are tabulated below:

Queries/Suggestions Clarification
The due date of completion of the work be fixed only after obtaining approval from the Kerala State Pollution Control Board. Time allowed for the completion of work of STP at Thamalam & Main Office Premises will be taken as 3 Months and 2 Months respectively from the date of approval/permission from Kerala State Pollution Control Board.
Stamp paper to be used for Agreement. The stamp paper to be used for printing of Agreement should be of Government of Kerala.
Testing of Waste Water The waste water was tested by CSIR and the parameters are furnished in the tender document.
Parameters of COD and BOD of the treated water furnished in the tender document are on a higher side. Criteria of treated water outlet remain unchanged.
Payment of Bills 5% retention money will be deducted from each and every bill payable which will be released after the Defects Liability Period.
EMD & PBG Proof of submission of EMD shall be uploaded in MSTC site. EMD will be released after the submission of Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG). PBG is to be submitted every year as per tender condition.
Submission of design The design of the STP shall be submitted through MSTC portal only.
Use of treated water The treated water will be used for flushing & landscaping/gardening purposes at Thamalam Staff Quarters and for gardening/landscape works at Main Office Premises.

3. Representative of M/s Envirochem was advised to inspect the site at Thamalam Staff Quarters and Main Office Premises.
