With a view to encourage original writing in Hindi on banking subjects, Reserve Bank of India conducts an inter-bank Hindi Essay Competition every year. All Officers and Staff Members (Except Rajbhasha Officers and Translators) can participate in this Competition. Accordingly, three topics selected for the competition to be held for the year 2016-17 are as under: -

Participants may send their essay in Hindi on any one of the given topics. The last date for submission is 30th November 2016 (Wednesday).

The rules for the competition are given in Annex 'A', while the format of the Certificate to be submitted by the participating officers/employees is given in the Annex 'B'. All Public Sector Banks (including RRBs) & Financial Institutions are requested to bring the contents of this circular to the notice of all the members of staff attached to their offices. In order to give wide publicity, they are requested to publish information regarding aforesaid competition in the House Journals/Hindi Periodicals of their institution and also to make it available on their websites.
