The Bank publishes two statutory reports, the Annual
Report of the Bank and the Report on Trend and Progress of Banking
in India. These reports along with the Report on Currency and
Finance are documents that not only relate to the Bank's operations
during a given year but also reflect economic events, matters
related to banking and policy related to the financial sector,
and in a broader way the milieu of the times. They, thus, constitute
an important source material relating to India's financial and
economic history.
