Starting as a Sub-Office of the Bank in 2007, it became an independent Regional Office from November 01, 2012. Financial Inclusion & Development Department, Department of Supervision, Government Banking Division, Consumer Education and Protection Cell, and the Office of the RBI Ombudsman are presently functioning in the Office.
