Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Re-carpeting of Bitumen Road at Reserve Bank Staff Quarters, Sector 9, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu

A pre-bid meeting for captioned e-tender was held on June 20, 2024 at 1200 hours at the Multi Purpose Hall of RBI, Jammu in offline mode.

3. The queries raised by the participants during the meeting vis-à-vis the clarification given by the Bank are given below

a. The bidder raised the query regarding the grade of bitumen. It was clarified that the bitumen of Grade VG – 30 will be used in the work.
b. The bidders raised the query regarding application of retro- reflective paint, its mode of application and its measurement. It was informed that 2.5 mm thick and 100 mm wide reflective thermoplastic paint strips will be applied on both sides of the road and on speed breakers without any break. The paint will be applied using thermoplastic road marking machine on bituminous surface in white shade. It was also clarified that the area shall be worked out in Square Meters (Sqm) correct to two decimal places.
c. One of the bidders raised the query regarding surface preparation for road. It was explained that the surface preparation is clearly mentioned in the specification of items mentioned in tender document.

4. Bidders were apprised that the tender should be uploaded well before the last date of bidding to avoid any last-minute errors/rush. While quoting the tender, the item wise rates should be entered inclusive of GST. Further, it was informed that the EMD for the work should be submitted only by the successful bidder in the form of NEFT to the account details provided in the Tender Document.

5. Bidders shall note that all the above clarifications provided by the Bank during the pre-bid meeting along with details indicated in the Tender document shall form part of the Tender/Contract.
