Minutes of Prebid Meeting: Shri Vineeth R Nair, AGM, Estate Section welcomed the participants of the meeting and invited queries, if any, from the prospective bidder regarding the captioned tender. Query put forth by the representative and clarifications given by the Bank are tabulated below: Sl No. | Queries/ Statements from the firm | Answers/ Clarifications from the Bank’s side if any | 1 | What height the existing truss sections must be raised, kindly confirm the same | The existing truss sections must be raised for a height of 1.5 m including beam height. | 2 | Scaffolding to be done in entire phase or phase manner, kindly confirm (Item No. 1) | The Contractor must quote after checking the site conditions keeping in view completion period of work. | 3 | The connection details between truss sections and MS members are not present in Structural drawing, kindly confirm. (Item No. 5) | The connection details for various structural members have been provided in revised Structural drawings and the same has been updated and attached for reference. | 4 | The firms have enquired regarding Gable wall details. | It was made clear that the remaining portion in Gable wall shall be provided in brickwork. The quantity for the same has been taken in BOQ. | 5 | The firms have raised query related to sealing of joints in Puff sheets for preventing leakage (Item No. 13) | It was made clear to the firms that the joints in Puff sheet shall be properly sealed by any rubber sealants, etc. or any other methodology as approved by Bank’s Engineer and no additional cost shall be paid by the Bank as per Tender | 6 | The additional truss strengthening members can be rectangular/ square hollow sections instead of circular sections for better grip, kindly confirm (Item No. 5) | Based upon request from Contractors and after necessary structural evaluation, the additional circular hollow sections have been revised to square hollow sections and the same has been updated in revised structural drawings and attached for reference. | 7 | Whether Synthetic Enamel Paint must be applied over Zinc Chromate Primer for structural sections or Epoxy primer with Epoxy paint shall be applied (Item No. 6), kindly confirm | As per tender conditions SEP shall have to be applied over Zinc chromate Primer. But the same has been revised and Epoxy paint shall be applied to structural members and Contractors must quote accordingly for the Item. | 8 | The Aluminium framework for wall panelling to be anodised or powder coating (Item No. 8) kindly confirm | The powder coating for Aluminium framework for wall panelling is not required. | 9 | The firms have enquired regarding Clerestory window details. (Item No. 15) | The Clerestory window frames shall be of powder coated Aluminium section 50 x 50 x 2 mm thickness or any other approved size as directed by Bank’s Engineer. Contractors shall quote accordingly for the Item. | 10 | The firms have raised query related to Acoustic wall panelling thickness, since in Part II documents it is mentioned as 9mm/ 12mm/ 24 mm (Item No. 9 & 10) kindly confirm | The panel thickness shall be either of 9mm or 12 mm as directed by Bank’s Engineer. Contractors shall quote accordingly for the Item. | 11 | The firms have enquired details for false ceiling pattern and their supporting framework (Item No. 14) | The false ceiling section details along with framework is provided in tender documents and the revised Architectural drawings has been attached for reference. | 12 | The firms have enquired details for positioning and number of trap doors in false ceiling and wall panelling for electrical & AC ducting maintenance (Item No. 9, 10 & 14) | It was conveyed that the same shall be decided as per actual site conditions by Bank’s Engineer and the Contractors shall quote accordingly keeping in view all the necessary arrangements. | Please note: -
