Shri Moirangthem Amarjeet Singh, Manager welcomed the participant of the meeting and invited queries, if any, from the prospective bidder regarding the captioned tender. The tender conditions were explained to the participant. Shri Tika Ram Sharma inquired about the classification of Office Attendant as Un-skilled and requested if Office Attendant could be classified as Skilled as per the definition of Skilled Work provided in Notification dated July 11, 2022 by Department of Labour, Government of Sikkim, which says “Skilled Work means work involves skill or competence acquired through experience on job or through training as an apprentice in a Technical or Vocational Institute and the performance of which calls for initiative and judgement”. The participant emphasized that if the manpower deployed for the post of Office Attendant requires some competence acquired through experience on job, they must be classified as Skilled and not Unskilled. 4. Accordingly, tender committee members agreed to look into the classification of Office Attendant and inform the participant that a Corrigendum will be issued, if required. 5.
