Minutes of Pre Bid Meeting and Extension of time - Supply and Maintenance of UHF Walkie Talkie system for Bank’s Office Buildings at Ahmedabad

In connection with the captioned tender a pre bid meeting was held at 1500 hrs on November 22, 2016 in Estate Department, 4th Floor of Reserve Bank of India, Ahmedabad. The meeting was attended by representative of Micromap Electronic System (P) Ltd and was headed by DGM, Estate, who stated at the outset that the purpose of the meeting was to clarify any doubts/queries regarding the said tender. The meeting was also attended by other officials of Estate Department, who were present to answer the queries of the participants. The following issues were raised by the participant & clarifications given by the Bank:

1. Eligibility Criteria

Apart from the eligibility criteria already specified in the tender, the participating firms should also meet following criteria:

• Minimum yearly turnover of Rs. 15 Lakh during last 3 financial years supported by audited financial statements ending March 2016.

• Completed works of Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Walkie Talkie systems as under:

  1. Three works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost.

    OR
  1. Two works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost.

    OR
  1. One work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost. Above works should be done during the last 5 years from the preceding month of invitation of this tender.

• Should have authorization from OEM for SITC of Walkie Talkie system, apart from Dealer Possession License (DPL)

2. It was clarified that Item 2: RF Power Output of Transmitter under Section l – ‘Technical Checklist’ may be read as 1-4 Watt instead of 1-6 Watt.

3. Following modifications were made to Item 1(b) Section lV – ‘Price Bid’:

  1. ‘Base stations’ shall be replaced with ‘Repeaters’ (Make: Motorola/ Kenwood) of Power output rating 25-40 Watt suitable for UHF frequency.

4. It was discussed that erection of towers for installation of receivers shall be carried out by the Bank. However mounting of receivers and allied works will be covered under contractor’s scope of work.

5. It is to be clarified that the last date of submission of tender is extended up to 1500 hrs on December 05, 2016. Part – l of the tender would be opened at 1600 Hrs on December 05, 2016.

All the tenderers may kindly note that the above minutes of pre bid meeting would form a part of the technical bid. A printout of the same should be taken and every sheet of the same duly signed stamped & should be enclosed with the part- I of the tender document. The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the chair.
