The Reserve Bank of India, Bangalore intends to prepare a panel of reputed contractors for undertaking Supply, Maintenance and Repair works as indicated in the statement below in respect of Bank’s office and residential properties at Bangalore. These works are estimated to cost up to Rs.2,00,000/- or above but not exceeding Rs.50 lakh at any one time. Enlistment will be done separately for the following trades and categories. The category of panels will be Category-1 (Work value up to Rs. 2 lakh), Category-II (Work value above Rs.2 lakh and up to Rs.10 lakh), Category-III (Work value above Rs.10 lakh and up to 25 lakh) and Category IV (Work value above 25 lakh and upto Rs.50 lakh). The trades and the category for which empanelment Civil & Interior Works, Interior Works, Repainting, Plumbing Works, Specialized Waterproofing Steel Fabrication, General Maintenance, cleaning & Upkeep of Bank’s property (External/ Internal cleaning of residential colonies and flats), Pest Control / Pesticide & Anti – Termite treatment, Miscellaneous works – Name Plates, Boards, Banners etc, Carpentry & furniture repair work, Supply/Cleaning of Carpets/ Chairs/ Sofa/ Venetian blinds etc., Electrical works, Supply of UPS Batteries, Maintenance of Air Conditioning Equipments, Supply of Electrical materials including panels, wiring, fitting/ fixture, HT /LT cables, pumps/ motors etc., Supply and installation of Solar Water Heater System and Solar Energy Equipments, Supply and installation of water purifiers, Telephone Wiring works/ Maintenance of EPBAX system & telephone lines, Supply /Maintenance of Security Equipments, Supply of Fire Fighting Equipments, Supply / Installation / Maintenance of Wet Fire Fighting System /sprinkler system, Supply /maintenance of Gymnastic Equipment's, Operation & Maintenance of DG Sets, Supply of electronic equipment such as TV, Refrigerators /AC equipment etc, Supply & Maintenance of public address system, video phone, etc, Disposal of scrap and waste paper, Disposal of e waste and Integrated facility management services.

Only those contractors (i) who are registered with Govt. /Semi-Govt. Organisations / PSUs, Financial Institutions etc. as maintenance / supply contractors or (ii) who have executed at least 3 (three) similar maintenance and repair works, each individually costing not less than Rs.1 lakh for Category I, Rs.5 lakh for Category II, Rs.10 lakh for Category III and Rs.50 lakh for Category IV during last 5 years and have a minimum Annual turnover of Rs.2,00,000/-, Rs.10 lakh, Rs.25 lakh and Rs.50 lakh during the last 3 years for Category I, II, III and IV respectively and have furnished written information about minimum 5 years work experience, names and addresses of their bankers and clients will be eligible to take application forms for empanelment for the respective category. Application Forms will be issued only to those contractors who furnish at the time of applying for the application forms proper documentary evidence for fulfilling the above mentioned qualification in writing/documents to satisfy the Bank about their eligibility for issue of application form. In the event of intending firm’s failure to satisfy the Bank, the Bank reserves the right to refuse issuance of application forms / documents to them.

Application forms to eligible persons / firms will be issued free of cost by AGM, Estate Department, RBI, Bangalore -560 001 from March 06, 2017 to April 06, 2017 on working days (Monday to Friday) between 11.00 AM to 4.30 PM. Application Form can also be downloaded from Bank’s website www.rbi.org.in. In case of downloaded documents, the Bank reserves the right to reject the application form which do not meet the eligibility criteria. The application, duly filled in and with the relevant particulars, as per the prescribed format shall be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope super scribed as “Application for empanelment of Contractors / suppliers for supply, maintenance and repair works” on the cover and addressed to “The Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Estate Department, Bangalore – 560 001” on or before April 27, 2017. Contractors already empanelled and those whose earlier applications have not been considered favorably are required to submit fresh applications.
