The following queries / issues were raised / discussed during the pre-bid meeting. The clarifications given by the Bank with respect to each of these queries / issues are as follows: | Sl no | Query | Clarification | | 1. | What is the maximum number of required labourers? | The deployment of labor is volume-driven and varies according to daily operational requirements. Based on present trends, the daily requirement typically ranges between 19 and 30 labourers. This range is indicative and not a fixed cap. On days involving fresh banknote remittances arriving from the presses, or when inward and outward remittances occur simultaneously, the requirement for labourers will increase significantly. It is the sole responsibility of the contractor to ensure that an adequate and sufficient number of labourers are provided to complete the day's work within the stipulated banking hours. The contractor must maintain a standby pool of vetted labour to scale up operations immediately upon the Bank's instruction, ensuring that no remittance is delayed due to a shortage of manpower. | | 2. | What is the tenure of the contract? | The tenure of the contract is for 2 years. | | 3. | Is the cost of the tender inclusive or exclusive of GST? | The cost of the tender i.e. ₹1.61 Crores is exclusive of GST. It may please be noted that the amount is indicative only and RBI Kolkata is not under any obligation to incur expenditure equal to or exceeding the estimated cost/ expenditure mentioned in the tender document. | | 4. | What is the probable variation from the estimated cost of the contract? | The "Estimated Cost" provided in the tender is an indicative figure for budgetary and other purposes like determination of value of EMD and Performance Bank Guarantee etc. The variation from the estimated cost is directly dependent on the volume of remittance. Bidders are advised that the contract shall be a rate contract, and payments will be made strictly according to the actual work executed as per the Bank's Work Orders. Therefore, the final contract value is contingent upon operational requirements during the contract period and is not capped by the initial estimate. | 4. These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form the part of Bid document/ Agreement. 5. Rest of the terms and conditions and specifications of the Bid document shall continue to remain the same. 6. The above clarifications are issued for the information for all the intending bidders. 7.
