The queries from the prospective bidders regarding the captioned tender and clarifications for the same are as follows: | Sr. No. | Query/ Proposals | Clarifications | | 1. | Whether a bidder having no experience in transporting banknotes but having other experience participate in the tender? | It was clarified that bidder having experience of similar work i.e. experience in undertaking transportation services of banknotes, coins, or other secured valuables for Central/State Government bodies, PSUs, Nationalized Banks, or reputed financial organizations may participate in the tender. | | 2. | Whether the criteria of 30 kms for local transportation activities be reconsidered? | It was clarified that there is no change in the Tender Specifications. | | 3. | Whether the vehicles provided for Escort Parties should be less than 10 years old? | As prescribed in the tender, the vehicles provided for remittance of treasure and to the Escort Parties should be roadworthy / in good condition with proper / comfortable seats to withstand the strain of long journeys and the vehicles shall be less than 10 years old. | | 4. | How many escort vehicles are required as per the tender? | As prescribed in the tender, the Contractor should provide sufficient air-conditioned escort vehicles, i.e., 7-seater escort vehicle (preferably 3 vehicles for each remittance or less as required by the Bank) (Ertiga/Tata Sumo / Bolero/Scorpio, etc or equivalent model), for the use of carrying RBI / other bank’s representatives along with police personnel. | 3. It is reiterated that the last date and time of submission of Earnest Money Deposit is 11:00 hours of February 24, 2026. It is the duty of the bidder to ensure that the EMD amount and proof of transaction must be received and settled on or before 11:00 hours of February 24, 2026. The cut off time for EMD will be strictly followed. Any transaction initiated or unsettled beyond the said time and date shall be considered invalid and no request shall be taken in this regard. 4. These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form the part of bid document/Agreement. Rest of the terms and conditions and specifications of the bid document shall continue to remain same. 5.
