Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of full height dual lane turnstile at entrance lobby area of Bank’s office, Kochi

Sealed tenders in two-parts are invited from Original equipment Manufacturers or their authorized dealers/integrators for the work of “SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING OF FULL HEIGHT DUAL LANE TURNSTILE AT THE ENTRANCE LOBBY AREA OF BANK’S OFFICE, KOCHI” estimated to cost ₹ 6.50 lakhs and to be completed within 30 days.

Only those firms who have minimum 5 years’ experience in the field of undertaking full height turnstile work and have completed similar works successfully during last 5 years individually costing as under shall eligible to participate in the tender process:

a) Three works each costing not less than 40% of estimated cost

Or

b) Two works each costing not less than 50% of estimated cost

Or

c) One work costing not less than 80% of estimated cost

AND

d) Have a minimum yearly turnover of 100% of estimated cost during the last 3 years supported by audited financial statements

AND

e) Have a service setup in Kochi for rendering after sales service.

Tenderers should submit the following documents in respect of their eligibility:

  1. Copies of detailed work order indicating scope and value of works.

  2. Completion certificate for the qualifying works.

  3. List of completed works with all the details as per proforma

  4. Financial statement for turnover for last 3 years

The tender forms will be issued only to the contractors who furnish the detailed information in writing / documents to satisfy the Bank about their eligibility to tender. If they fail to satisfy the Bank, the tender form shall not be issued.

Tender forms will be issued on all working days during Office hours from 15/11/2017 to 29/11/2017 on a non-refundable payment of ₹.500/- + GST per set. In case of downloaded documents, the cost of tender documents in Demand Draft along with complete detailed information/ documents in proof of their being eligible to tender for the work will have to be submitted along with Part I of the tender. After scrutinizing Part I, if a contractor is not found to possess the eligibility, his tender will be liable for rejection.

A pre-tender briefing meeting of the intending tenderers will be held at 11 AM on 01/12/2017 in Premises Section to clarify any point/doubt raised in respect of the tender. No separate communication will be sent for this meeting. All the intending tenderers are advised to be present and study the tender documents.

Tenders shall be submitted in two parts in separate sealed envelopes addressed by name to Shri. M. K. Mall, Chief General Manager, Premises Section, Reserve Bank of India, Kochi – 682018, up to 2 PM on 07/12/2017. Part I shall be opened at 3 PM on same day in the presence of tenderers or authorized representatives who choose to be present. Part II of eligible tenderers shall be opened on a subsequently announced date.

The Bank is not bound to accept the lowest tender and reserves the right to accept either in full or in part any tender and to reject all the tenders.
