In connection with the captioned work, a pre-bid meeting was held at 11.00 AM on December 24, 2018 to clarify the queries of the bidders for the captioned work. The meeting was attended by representatives of the firms viz; M/s RRG Engineering Technologies Pvt. Ltd., M/s Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd., and M/s Vehant Technologies (Original Equipment Manufacturer on behalf of M/s RRG) and Officials of Estate Department. Names of the participants are mentioned below. 1. No | Queries raised by the firm’s representatives | Clarification given by the Bank | | 1. | The firm M/s RRG has requested to include Linux Operating system as some of the machines are operating on Linux. | It was accepted to include Linux Operating systems in addition to Windows operating systems as mentioned in the tender. | | 2. | Penetration thickness to be considered either 32 mm or 34 mm. | It was advised that all firms should quote for penetration thickness of “minimum 34 mm” as against 32 mm. | | 3. | Whether tunnel size indicated in the tender can be lower than 600x400 mm (WxH)? | It was advised that all the firms should quote tunnel size of minimum 600x400 mm (WxH) and above only. The size cannot be on the lower side. | | 4. | Whether printer should be supplied along with the machine or not? | It was clarified that printer hardware need not be supplied. However, the machine should be compatible for connecting printer. | | 5. | A request was made by the representative of the firm M/s Vehant for exemption of EMD as the firm is governed under MSMED Act. | It was apprised that RBI is a statutory body and the MSMED Act is not applicable. Hence, no exemption could be granted. It was clarified that EMD is mandatory for the all the tenderers. | | 6. | The representative of the firm M/s RRG queried that whether the bank guarantee to be submitted for 3 years after handing over can be reduced to 10% of the contract value as against 20% as per the tender? | Request was not accepted. | | 7. | A request for certain particulars of old X-ray baggage scanner machine was sought by all the firms. | Existing machine was physically shown to assess the condition and details thereof. | All the tenderers may kindly note that the above minutes of the pre-bid meeting would form a part of the technical bid. A printout of the same should be taken and the sheet duly signed, stamped and should be enclosed with the Part I of the tender document. | |
