Shri P S Santhosh Kumar, Manager (Tech) welcomed the participants to the meeting and invited queries, if any, from the prospective bidders regarding the captioned tender. Shri K Suresh Kumar, AM (Tech) explained various aspects of the tenders and Bank’s requirements, which need to be taken care of in their bids. Queries put forth by the representatives and clarifications given by the Bank are tabulated below: | Queries/Suggestions | Clarification/Comments | | Whether unloading charges borne by the contractor? | Yes. Delivery of materials at site and Unloading charges shall be borne by the contractor. | | Whether delivery of materials at mid night is allowed? | Not allowed. | | Whether Anchor fastener for supporting structure is permitted at terrace? | Yes. It is permitted and concrete pedestal also required to withstand wind pressure. | | Workmen compensation policy is mandatory? | Yes. All the insurance policies in terms of para 29 of Section II of the tender is mandatory. | | Whether earthing plate shall be made of copper or other materials? | Copper plate earthing shall be provided as per IS 3043: 2018 with minimum three Nos. per power plant. The earthing conductor shall be of GI flat with size not less than 25 * 3 mm with necessary saddles and clamps laid from ground to terrace. The testing point shall be provided for every pit and test report shall be submitted to the Bank. Earth resistance value should be less than 5 ohms. | | Whether manufacturer needs to present at the site? | Not required. All the certificates mentioned in the tender should be submitted. | | Whether completion period of twelve weeks shall be counted after getting approval from KSEB? | No. The time period given for the total completion of the work is twelve weeks from the tenth day of issue of work order. | 3.
