A Pre-Bid meeting, in connection with tender No. RBI/Chennai Office/HRMD/1/23-24/ET/188 floated on MSTC on November 09, 2023 for the captioned contract, was conducted at 11:30 AM on November 24, 2023 at Conference Room, 2nd Floor, RBI Chennai. The meeting was chaired by Shri P Vinay Rajiv, AGM. 2. The list of participants of the meeting is given below: Bank officials: | S. After formal welcome, Manager, RBI explained the tendering process and highlighted the relevant timelines. Following which, the vendors were requested to seek clarifications, if any. The queries raised by the bidders were clarified, referring to the applicable paras in the Notice Inviting Tender (NIT). The queries raised and the clarifications given are as appended: | S.No. | Queries raised | Clarification provided | | i) | Whether the uniform average discount to be offered is on base price or MRP? | In terms of para 3 on page 1 of the NIT, the uniform average discount is to be offered on MRP (inclusive of all taxes). | | ii) | Whether the technical bids required to be uploaded on the website need to be signed with firm’s stamp. | As per the sub para (a) of para 8 on Procedure for application on page 11 of the NIT document, “All pages of the documents must be signed by an authorized person on behalf of the firm along with seal at the bottom and uploaded on the MSTC portal”. | | iii) | What should be done to clear the technical issues, if any, while uploading the bids in the MSTC portal? | As per the special note on page 5 of NIT, “in case of any clarification, vendors may contact RBI / MSTC before the scheduled time of the e-tender”.
