No | Query/Proposal | Clarifications furnished by the Bank | i. | Kindly clarify the requirement of MSMED Registration certificate as specified in checklist of documents. | The tenderers having registered under MSMED Act, 2008 are advised to submit their corresponding Registration certificate. Tenderers who are not registered as MSME under the said Act, may submit an undertaking in this regard. | ii. | We have prior experience in providing manpower services to several organisations. However, we do not possess the experience in providing services of Firefighting staff. Are we eligible to participate in this tender? | Kindly refer to Clause 2.A of Section E “Eligibility Criteria for participating in the e-Tender” (Page No. 23), Only Company/Firm/Agency having experience in field of providing services of Firefighting staff for at least five years (The applicant should have undertaken at least one similar work on or before December 31, 2018) and have executed similar work during previous five years are eligible to apply in this tender. | iii. | What is the minimum value of service charge that can be quoted in the price bid? | Service charge is required to be quoted in percentage of Fixed Amount by the Bank as shown in the Part -II (Price Bid) (Page No. 87-90) of the tender. There is no such restriction on quoting the minimum value as Service charge by the tenderers. However, it may be noted that such quoted service charge shall be inclusive of wages and allowances paid to the workers by the contractor over and above the rates specified under the minimum wages, cost of uniform and training of fire staff, contractor’s profit & overhead, Workmen compensation policy, Contractors all risk policy, Third Party Liability Insurance, Bonus payment to workers (if applicable), transportation, loading and unloading, freight charges, transit insurance and other administrative charges and all taxes, duty or other levy levied by Central Government or any State Government or local authority if applicable other than Goods and Service Tax (GST). Accordingly, the tenderers are advised to quote their service charges keeping in mind the cost of above-mentioned requirements of the contract. | iv. | Do we need to employ the firefighting staff currently serving at RBI under the existing contract or can we employ our own staff? | There is no compulsion of employing the firefighting staff currently serving at RBI under the existing contract. However, it must be ensured by the contractor to get the antecedents of his/ her personnel verified through Police channels and the certification/ verification reports shall be made available to Reserve Bank of India, Nagpur prior to their deployment. Further, full biodata (in format as prescribed under Annexure-IX (Page No. 83)), including passport size photograph, of each firefighting staff employed for the job shall be submitted to the Bank along with a copy of Valid Photo ID Card of such staff prior to their deployment. | 3. All the above points were noted and agreed by the firms. Firms were advised to adhere to the prequalification criteria and all terms & conditions mentioned in the tender documents. Please note: | A | This document (Minutes of the Pre-bid meeting cum corrigendum) shall form a part of the tender.
