Nachiket Mor is a Yale World Fellow; has a Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania, with a specialization in Finance from the Wharton School; an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad; and an undergraduate degree in Physics from the Mumbai University.
He worked with ICICI from 1987 to 2007 and was a member of its Board of Directors from 2001 to 2007. From 2007 to 2011, he served as the founding President of ICICI Foundation and during this period was also the Chair of the Governing Council of IFMR Trust and Board Chair of FINO. He is now the Board Chair of CARE India and, among others, is also a member of Reserve Bank of India’s Eastern Area Local Board and Central Board; and the Boards of IKP Centre for Technologies in Public Health and CRISIL. In the past he has also served as a Board Member of Wipro for five years and Board Chair of the Fixed Income Money Market and Derivatives Association of India for two years.
During 2011-12 he served as a member of the High Level Expert Group on Universal Health Coverage appointed by the Planning Commission, and during 2012-13 as a member of the Health Sub-Committee of the National Advisory Council. He currently serves as a member of the RBI Board of Director’s Standing Committee on Financial Inclusion; the Research Advisory Council of the RBI’s Centre for Advanced Financial Research and Learning; and the Standing Council of Experts on the Indian Financial Sector of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
|Prof. Damodar Acharya |
Professor Damodar Acharya earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering from NIT Rourkela, Masters and Ph.D from IIT Kharagpur. He joined the Industrial Engineering Faculty in the same Institute in 1976. He was Vice-Chancellor of Biju Patnaik University of Technology where he laid the foundation of a robust Technical University education system that is being emulated by others.
As Chairman of AICTE, he was responsible for getting provisional membership of Washington Accord for India. During nearly two and half years of his tenure in AICTE, he could shift the focus of the Institutions from Physical Infrastructures to Human Capital. To help economically weaker, physically challenged and women students to have access to technical education, he introduced voluntary tuition fee waiver upto 10% of the sanctioned strength of an institution which has now been made compulsory to 5%.
As Director of IIT Kharagpur he has taken several path breaking initiatives both in academics and administrative front to propel his Institute to newer heights. Under his leadership, the Institute has brought remarkable changes in the academic front giving quantum fillip to number of research publications, number of PhDs, number of Patents and Sponsored research earnings. IIT Kharagpur is the first Institute to have Bioscience and Environmental Science as compulsory subjects for all. The Institute is now in the process of bringing two diverse disciplines of engineering and medicine together. This will create a new paradigm of medical education, research and healthcare delivery. Under his leadership, health insurance for all the students was made. A novel scheme providing lifelong healthcare support to self and spouse of all retired employees has been introduced in IIT Kharagpur.Getting Special budgetary support of Rs 200 crore for Four new initiatives And Rs 150 crore for a400 bed hospital during the Diamond Jubilee year of the Institute are the other highlights.
As an academician he has been conferred with Fellowship of both Indian National Academy of Engineering and The National Academy of Sciences. He uniquely combines academics with the industry oriented research and development. He has developed and perfected large scale discrete event simulation models to capture the operation of an integrated steel plant. Prof. Acharya leads a simple life. He provides professional support to many universities, institutions and organizations including Khadi and Village Industries Commission. He is currently devoting his time to improve quality of faculty and technical education.

Ms. Anjuly Chib Duggal belongs to the Indian Administrative Service, and is presently posted as Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. In her present position, she deals with matters relating to Banking, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Pension reforms etc and reports to the Finance Minister.
Prior to the current posting she was Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India for the period from March, 2015 till August, 2015. She has also worked as Special Additional Secretary and Joint Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance.
Earlier, she worked at the State level in Government of Punjab in various capacities, including as Member Secretary, Punjab Finance Commission (2004-2006). In previous tenures in Govt. of India, she worked as Director in Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion and Joint Secretary, Information and Broadcasting, handling the automobile sector, FIPB and Film industry among other responsibilities.

Shri Shaktikanta Das belongs to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 1980 batch, Tamil Nadu cadre. He has vast experience in various areas of governance in the last 35 years.
A postgraduate from St. Stephen’s College of Delhi University, Shri Das has held important positions in the Central and State Governments in the areas of Finance, Taxation, Industries and Infrastructure. At present, he is working as Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Prior to joining this assignment, he was India’s Fertilizer Secretary and Revenue Secretary.
Shri Das has held important positions in the State Government of Tamil Nadu and in the Central Government. Some of the key positions held by him with the State Government of Tamil Nadu were Secretary (Industries); Secretary (Commercial Taxes); Secretary (Revenue); Commissioner for Revenue Administration; Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Newsprints and Papers Limited; Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Corporation for Industrial Infrastructure Development; Executive Director, Electronic Corporation of Tamil Nadu and Managing Director of State Cooperative Bank, etc.
Shri Das has worked in the Government of India since 2008. He held the position of Joint Secretary (Budget) and Additional Secretary (Budget) and was associated with the preparation of four Budgets in the Government of India. Thereafter, Shri Das worked as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs and was handling important issues like economic and financial policy of the Government, bilateral and multi-lateral institutions like World Bank and ADB, bilateral economic cooperation with other countries, investment and infrastructure, etc.

Shri Natarajan Chandrasekaran has been serving as the CEO and MD of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He holds Masters in Computer Application from Regional Engineering College, Trichy and was conferred with honorary doctorate by several universities in India and abroad. Shri Chandrasekaran has over 28 years of experience in global software industry and business operations. He served as the chairman of NASSCOM, and was the Chairperson of the IT Industry at the World Economic Forum, Davos for 2015-16. He is a member of Indo – US CEO Forum as well as India’s bilateral business taskforces for Australia, UK and Japan. He has received several awards including the Qimpro Platinum Standard Award for Business in 2015 and Institutional Investor’s ‘Best CEO’ for the fifth consecutive year in 2015. In 2014, he was voted as a CNBC TV 18 - ‘Indian Business Icon' and CNN- IBN Indian of the Year 2014 in business category. He is an avid photographer, music aficionado and a passionate long-distance runner who has completed marathons across the world.

Shri Bharat Narotam Doshi is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and holds a Master’s degree in Law from Bombay University. He is an alumnus of Harvard Business School (PMD) and Fellow of the Salzburg Seminar on "Asian Economies: Regional and Global Relationships".
Shri Doshi is a former Executive Director and Group CFO of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited. He was also the Chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited since April 2008 and he stepped down from this position on his nomination as director on the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India in March 2016.
He is the Chairman of Mahindra Intertrade Limited.
He is also an Independent Director of Godrej Consumer Products Limited.
Shri Doshi is also on the Governing Board of The Mahindra United World College of India, K.C. Mahindra Education Trust and Mahindra Foundation. He is on the Board of Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations, a foreign policy think tank in Mumbai.
Over the last 35 years, Shri Doshi has been actively involved with the work of chambers of commerce and industry being a member of various expert committees. He served as the President of Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2009-10.
He was a member of the High Powered Expert Committee constituted by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, on Making Mumbai an International Financial Centre. He was a Member of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) constituted Working Group to examine a range of emerging issues pertaining to regulation of the NBFC (non-banking financial companies) sector and was also a Member of the RBI constituted Committee on Comprehensive Financial Services for Small Businesses and Low-Income Households (CCFS). He was a member of the SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) Committee on Disclosures and Accounting Standards (SCODA). He currently serves on the Advisory Board of Excellence Enablers, an organization committed to promoting corporate governance in India.
Shri Doshi’s career achievements have earned him several awards and accolades, including being adjudged “India’s Best CFO” by Business Today, “CFO of the Year” by IMA India in 2005 and in 2007 by CNBC and induction by CFO India as a Founding Member to the CFO Hall of Fame in recognition of an exemplary career and a lifetime of contribution to the field of Finance.

Shri Sudhir Mankad IAS (retd), holds Masters in History from University of Delhi, and Diploma in Development Studies from Cambridge University. He joined IAS in 1971 and served in various capacities, mainly in Education and Finance departments, both in Government of India and Gujarat. His last assignment was as Chief Secretary, Govt of Gujarat. After retirement from service in August 2007, he was appointed non executive Chairman of Gujarat International Finance Tec-(GIFT) City Ltd, which was recently notified as India’s first IFSC. He serves as an independent director on several companies. He is also Chairman of Gujarat Institute of Desert Ecology Bhuj, Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar and Vice President of Charutar Arogya Mandal, Karamsad. He is a member of Board of Governors of Navrachna University, Vadodara. He assists and advises Pratham, Gyanshala and America India Foundation in their work in education sector in Gujarat. He is currently serving as a member of the Committee to formulate New Education Policy.
