मुद्रास्फीति पर घरेलू अपेक्षाओं का सर्वेक्षण

आज, रिज़र्व बैंक ने मई 2023 के अपने द्विमासिक मुद्रास्फीति पर घरेलू अपेक्षाओं का सर्वेक्षण (आईईएसएच)1 2 के परिणाम जारी किए है। यह सर्वेक्षण 2-11 मई, 2023 के दौरान 19 प्रमुख शहरों में आयोजित किया गया था, जिसमें 6,068 शहरी परिवारों की प्रतिक्रियाएं शामिल थीं। सर्वेक्षण के इस दौर में महिला उत्तरदाताओं की हिस्सेदारी 50.4 प्रतिशत रही है।

मुख्य विशेषताएं:

  1. सर्वेक्षण के नवीनतम दौर में मौजूदा मीडियन मुद्रास्फीति के लिए परिवारों की धारणा 10 आधार अंकों (बी.पी.एस.) से घटकर 8.8 प्रतिशत तक हो गई है [चार्ट 1ए और 1बी; सारणी 3]।

  2. मार्च 2023 के तुलना में तीन महीने और एक वर्ष आगे, दोनों अवधि के लिए मुद्रास्फीति की अपेक्षाएं 10 आधार अंकों (बी.पी.एस.) से घटकर क्रमशः 10.1 और 10.4 प्रतिशत हो गईं है [चार्ट 1ए और 1बी; सारणी 3]]।

  3. उत्तरदाताओं की श्रेणियों में, सेवानिवृत्त व्यक्तियों की मुद्रास्फीति अपेक्षाएं सबसे अधिक थीं [सारणी 2]।

  4. पिछले सर्वेक्षण दौर की तुलना में, दोनों समय क्षितिज के लिए कीमतों में वृद्धि की उम्मीद करने वाले परिवारों की हिस्सेदारी में कमी आई है [टेबल 1ए और सारणी 1बी]।

  5. कुल कीमतों पर उत्तरदाताओं की अपेक्षाएं आम तौर पर सेवाओं की लागत के साथ तीन महीने और एक साल आगे की अपेक्षाएं से जुड़ी हुई थीं [सारणी 4]।

2 यह सर्वेक्षण भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक के द्वारा द्विमाही अंतरालों पर संचालित किया जाता है। यह सर्वेक्षण निकट भविष्य में मुद्रास्फीतिकारी दबावों पर उत्तरदाताओं से प्राप्त यथापेक्षित उपयोगी निदेशात्मक जानकारी प्रदान करता है और उनकी स्वयं की खपत प्रवृत्ति को प्रतिबिंबित करता है। अतः इन्हें मुद्रास्फीति पर पारिवारिक इकाइयो की भावनाओं के रूप में माना जाना चाहिए। मुद्रास्फीति प्रत्याशाओं के सभी अनुमान मीडियन के रूप में दिए गए हैं, अन्यथा जब तक न कहा गया हो।
