With a view to encourage original writing in Hindi on banking subjects, Reserve Bank of India conducts an inter-bank Hindi Essay Competition every year. All Officers and Staff Members (Except Rajbhasha Officers and Translators) of Public Sector Banks (Including RRBs sponsored by Banks), Financial Institutions and Reserve Bank of India can participate in this Competition. Accordingly, three topics selected for the competition to be held for the year 2018-19 are as under: - | 1. | सोशल मीडिया और बैंकिंग | | 2. | डिजिटल बैंकिंग – भविष्य एवं संभावनाएं | | 3. | बैंकिंग उद्योग का भविष्य | Participants may send their essay in Hindi on any one of the given topics. The last date for submission is 05th December 2018 (Wednesday). The rules for the competition are given in Annex 'A', while the format of the Certificate to be submitted by the participating officers/employees is given in Annex 'B'. Prize money for the winners has been revised w.e.f. year 2018-19 and they will now be awarded ₹ 14,000, ₹ 10,000, ₹ 8,000 and ₹ 3,000 respectively for First, Second, Third and Consolation prizes. All Public Sector Banks (including RRBs) & Financial Institutions are requested to bring it to the notice of all the members of staff attached to their offices. In order to give wide publicity, they are requested to publish information regarding aforesaid competition in the House Journals/Hindi Periodicals of their institution and also upload on their websites.
