Master Circular - Prudential Guidelines on Capital Adequacy
and Market Discipline- New Capital Adequacy Framework (NCAF)

Please refer to the Master Circular No.DBOD.BP.BC.15/21.06.001/2010-11 dated July 1, 2010, consolidating therein the guidelines issued to banks till that date.

2.         The aforesaid Master Circular has been suitably updated by incorporating instructions issued upto June 30, 2011 and has been placed on the RBI Web-site (http://www.rbi.org.in).

3.         We advise that this Master Circular consolidates the modifications/clarifications issued vide circulars/mailbox clarifications listed in Annex 17.
