Reserve Bank of India, Central Office, Mumbai invites applications for empanelment of Contractors/firms/vendors (hereafter referred as contractors) for undertaking the Interior renovation of select floors at Central Office Building, RBI, Mumbai. The estimated cost of the renovation of one floor may range from ₹1.5 crore to ₹7 Crore approximately based on design scheme finalized by Project Architect appointed by the Bank. The works may be taken up in one or more floors in phases at a time. The empanelment has three categories: category I ₹1 crore to ₹5 crores category II ₹5 crores to ₹10 crores and category III ₹10 crores to ₹17 crores. 2. Only contractors with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar work and having completed minimum three similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of the estimated cost (upper band) or two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated cost (upper band) or one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated cost (upper band) during last five years along with pre-qualification and evaluation criteria as laid down in section II of the tender may apply in the prescribed form downloaded from Bank’s website. No further tender notice will be published in the press for the work referred above and issue of the tender forms for execution of captioned works will be limited to empaneled contractors only. Confidential reports from clients and Banker(s) in separate sealed envelopes, super scribing “Client’s/ Banker’s Report”, as the case may be. 3. During scrutiny, if any of the applicant is found not to possess the required pre- qualification or to have submitted false/ incorrect information, their application will be liable for rejection. Applications of only those applicants who fulfil the specified Pre- Qualification Criteria and submit the required documents shall be processed further. 4. Regarding Client’s certificate, for works carried out for Government/ Public Sector companies, the certificate should be signed by the concerned Executive Engineer or an officer in an equivalent or higher rank. For works carried out for private companies, Copy of TDS must be submitted along with the client certificate for proving the credentials/contract amount. The Bank reserves the right to independently verify the client’s/ Banker’s reports. 5. The panel shall remain valid for three years from the date of coming into existence subject to periodical review of performance as specified. 6. Please note that the applicant shall submit only one application for empanelment indicating the category/ies for which the firm is applying and submit the necessary documents as per the eligibility requirements for highest category.
