Minutes of Pre-Bid Meeting - Renovation of office space for College of Supervisors (CoS) at C7 1st and 2nd floor of BKC Office Building (Including Civil, MEP, HVAC, Electrical and Allied Works) at Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Mumbai

(Event No: RBI/Mumbai Regional Office/Estate/90/24-25/ET/479)

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned e-tender was held on October 16, 2024 (Wednesday) at 11:00 AM at Estate Cell, BKC.

2. The list of participants in the meeting is enclosed in Annexure A.

3. The queries, raised by the participant/s during the meeting vis-à-vis the clarification given by the Bank are given below:

1. Kindly increase the time allowed for completion of the work from the present period of 4 months. The completion period of work has been revised to 4 months and 15 days.
2. Kindly provide basic rate for item no 18a, fluted panel. Based on the request received from the firm, the unpriced bill of quantities has been modified and replaced with updated one and is attached at Annexure B.
3. Kindly provide basic rate for item 18l, i.e. Classroom wall with fluted acoustic panel.
4. Any Security Deposit of Landlord to be deposited Security deposit to be deposited as per tender condition.
5. Whether the power source will be available on floor for construction usage? Also, whether it is chargeable or will be provided free of cost? Power source will be made available to the contractor free of cost.
6. Kindly confirm, if there is any restriction for working times at site for any kind of construction activities. There is no restriction on working hours. However, contractor’s supervision is required.
7. Whether toilet is available for labours? It is available.
8. Whether storage space is available on site for material storage Tenderer has to make arrangement for storage on the floors under renovation.
9. Whether service lift is available?
Whether there will be any restriction for material / logistics movement?
Material can be lifted through passenger lift or staircase.
10. Whether labour cess will be in Client Scope? Labour cess shall be in the scope of contractor.
11. Please share payment terms Please refer to the tender clause 7 on page 210 of tender document.
12. Please confirm the payment duration after certification of RA bill. Please refer to the tender clause 7 on page 210 of the tender document
13. Please confirm the profit margin on extra item Please refer to the tender clause 12.2 A on page 43-44 of the tender document
14. Please confirm the basic rate cost difference profit margin Please refer to the tender clause SC2 (xii) on page 73-74 of the tender document
15. List of approve make for civil and interior works Please refer to the “List of approve make for civil and interior works” on page 153 of the tender document. The same is modified and is enclosed at Annexure C.
16. Please share 3D View Tender drawings and 3D view are uploaded on MSTC portal.

All other terms and conditions of the tender shall remain unchanged.
