In connection with the captioned tender a pre bid meeting was held at 11:00 AM on December 12, 2018 in the Meeting Room, 4th Floor MOB, RBI, Ahmedabad. The meeting was attended by representatives of three firms viz.; Calwin Engineers, ADD Air Conditioning, S A Air Conditioning and Officials of Estate Department.

The meeting was headed by DGM Estate who stated at the outset that the purpose of the meeting was to clarify any doubts/queries regarding the said tender. He informed the firm representatives to clearly go through the Tender and submit/attach the necessary documents as required in Part I – Technical and Commercial requirements under Section II General Instructions to tenderers.

Thereafter Manager Tech (Electrical) elaborated on the scope of work, requirements and expectations of the Bank. The representatives were informed the mode of remitting Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹ 11,500/- as mentioned in clause 11 of Section II General Instructions to tenderers and cautioned that a tender not accompanied by EMD / Tender Fees is liable to be rejected.

He further informed the participating firms that in item no 5: Refrigerant Gas (Technical checklist on page 76) the Bank shall accept both R407C and R410 gases as the same has been clearly mentioned at item no 1 of the Bill of Quantity on page no 109 of the tender document. All other terms & conditions of the tender shall remain the same.

All the tenderers may kindly note that the above minutes of the pre bid meeting would form a part of the technical bid. A printout of the same should be taken and the sheet duly signed, stamped and should be enclosed with the Part I of the tender document.

As there were no issues raised by the participants and clarifications sought the meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
