Submission of progress reports under Swarnjayanti Gram Swarozgar Yojana (SGSY)-certain modifications

Please refer to our circular RBI/2004-05/125,Ref RPCD.SP.BC.18/09.01.01/2004-05 dated 17^th August 2004.

2. In view of certain difficulties faced by the banks in compiling/reporting of the data correctly/uniformly and comparison of the data in respect of total applications received vis-à-vis the applications sanctioned/disbursed under the present monthly format submitted under SGSY, a modified monthly format is devised to reflect the correct position in respect of total applications received upto the reporting month and in respect of number of pending applications. The same is enclosed and banks are advised to furnish the data under SGSY in the modified monthly format from month ended September 30, 2004 onwards.

3. You may advise your controlling offices and implementing branches suitably under advice to us.
