E-Tender No. – RBI/Bangalore Regional Office/Issue/2/26-27/ET/41 - [Supply of Labour] The pre-bid meeting for the captioned e-Tender was scheduled at 11:00 AM on April 30, 2026 (Thursday) at Issue Department, Reserve Bank of India, Bengaluru. 2. The queries raised by the participants during the meeting vis-à-vis the clarification given by the Bank officials are as under: - | Sl. While the Scope of Work explicitly includes both loading and unloading, the Price Bid document refers to only unloading. | All requirements are specified in Sl. No. I, II, III and IV of Part-II Price Bid under Schedule A of Section VIII. | | 2 | How many labourers are required in day-to-day work? | It was clarified in the meeting that requirement for labourers will depend upon the quantum of work which may undergo change as per the Bank’s requirement. The quantum of work shall be conveyed to the contractor in advance and sufficient number of labourers must be provided in order to complete the allocated work within the business hours of the bank. As an indicative number, at least 8 mazdoors must be provided to handle 200 boxes of banknotes, and the same proportion may be maintained for other lot sizes. Further, at least 10 mazdoors must be provided to handle 4000 bags of coins, and the same proportion may be maintained for other lot sizes). | | 3 | Whether, labourers shall be sent to railway station also? | Yes, labourers shall be sent to railway station as and when required. | | 4 | Whether the price includes the loading and unloading? | Yes, rates are to be quoted for loading and unloading as described in the price bid. | | 5 | Whether labour licence is required if the number of labours is less than 50? | All the Labour laws will be applicable and it is required to submit the labour licence as per the governing statutes in the State of Karnataka. | | 6 | Whether ESIC and PF is applicable if the number of labourers is less than 20 members? | It is clarified that the contractor shall comply as per the existing Central/ State Govt. statutes. | | 7 | In future, what will be the labour size requirement for coin inward? | It was advised that the price bid has been normalized based on estimated requirements for labour. | | 8 | Price bid Note (ii) | A corrigendum is being issued in this regard. All tenderers are requested to refer to the same. | 4. The following amendments/corrigendum in the Tender document is notified: | Sl.
