1. Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata invites applications for empanelment of contractors / Suppliers under various categories for maintenance / renovation works in its Office and Residential Premises at Kolkata. 2. The Empanelment shall be carried out for different categories under each trade based on the estimated cost of work/ supply. Contractors fulfilling the following pre-qualification criteria can download the application forms from https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/BS_ViewTenders.aspx and submit the duly filled forms in the Estate Department, RBI, Kolkata by furnishing documentary evidence in support of their required eligibility and in the event of the failure to do so the bank reserves the right to refuse to accept their eligibility for the respective trade/category. Applicants are required to indicate on top of the application form the Trade and Category(es) in which they desire Empanelment. 3. Pre-Qualification Criteria: The applicant fulfilling the following eligibility criteria shall be considered for empanelment in the respective trade and category. 3.1 Duration of Prior Experience: The applicant Should have minimum 5 years of experience of executing similar works* (during last 5 years ending April 30, 2026). Applicants should furnish their client lists showing the details of work carried out by them during the last 5 years. The list shall include details such as Name of the Client, Value of work executed, Date of Start and Finish of the work, Reasons of delay, if any etc. The Applicant should submit documentary evidence in support of minimum experience of 5 years (i.e. the firm should have undertaken work on or after May 01, 2021). 3.2 Minimum value of each completed similar work* (Qualifying) | | Category II | Category III | Category IV | Category V | Three similar completed works each costing not less than OR | ₹4Lakh | ₹10Lakh | ₹20Lakh | ₹40Lakh | Two similar completed works each costing not less than OR | ₹5Lakh | ₹12.5Lakh | ₹25Lakh | ₹50Lakh | | One similar completed works each costing not less than | ₹8Lakh | ₹20Lakh | ₹40Lakh | ₹80Lakh | 3.3 Turnover: Should have an annual turnover of amount equal to 100% of the upper limit of the respective category for which Empanelment is sought or more during the last three financial years ending March 31, 2025 i.e., 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25. (Audited balance sheet duly certified by a Chartered Accountant along with supporting Financial statements shall be submitted) 3.4 Solvency: Should furnish solvency certificate issued by the Applicant’s banker, specifically for the purpose of the Empanelment, for an amount equal to upper limit of the respective category for which Empanelment is sought. (Proforma attached) 3.5 Service set-up: Full-fledged service setup should be available for the specified job either at Kolkata or at nearby city/place where from required quality after sales services can be regularly provided. 3.6 Copies of valid licenses and certificates: Must have valid licenses for related trades as applicable, PAN, GST Registration etc. with respective registering authorities. *Similar Work: similar work for various trades is broadly defined as follows: | Sr. No. | Trades | Definition (Consisting of any or all the components mentioned under respective trades) | | 1. | Civil Works | General Repair, Structural repairs, Repainting of flats, Carpentry Works, plumbing works, Interior and renovation work of residential and / or office premises. Interested Contractors/ Suppliers may download the application form for full details. 5. Interested applicants may apply for Empanelment for single or multiple trades and either in any or all categories. In case the applicant intends to apply for more than one trade and more than 1 category he/ she should submit separate applications for each trade. The applicants are required to write the name of Trade and Category (es) for which application is submitted on the envelope containing the PQ documents and on top of forwarding letter also. 6. The interested applicants should submit following documents to the office of the Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Estate Department, Main Building, 3rd floor, 15 N.S. Road, Kolkata- 700001 on or before 05:00 PM on June 10, 2026. 7. The application form shall be signed by a person on behalf of the Organization, who is duly authorized to do so. Each page of application shall be properly signed. If the application is signed by a person under power of attorney, required document giving the person the power of attorney shall be attached along with the application. 8. If the space in the application form is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on a separate sheet of paper duly signed stating therein the part of the statement and serial number. Satisfactory completion certificates for works done for different employers should preferably be furnished along with the application. 9. Application containing false or inadequate information is liable for rejection. 10. The applicant who is applying for higher category can be empaneled in lower category on his specific request. 11. Applicant who desires to apply for Pest Control, Sanitary & Plumbing and Electrical related trades or any such trade which needs a license from the competent authority must submit photocopy of valid license issued by appropriate authority. For specialized works such as water proofing/ refilling of fire extinguishers etc., the applicant shall submit copy of the authorized applicator/ dealer certificate, issued by the respective manufacturer. 12. While deciding upon the selection of the Contractors, emphasis will be given on the ability, experience, performance, value of works executed and competence to do good quality work. 13. The Bank reserves the right to reject any or all the applications. 14.
