Minutes of Pre-bid Meeting - Supply of medicines to the Bank’s dispensaries at Hyderabad, supply of medicines on credit slips and home delivery of medicines to the intended beneficiaries of the Bank within the municipal limits of the city of Hyderabad

The pre-bid meeting for the captioned e-tender was conducted physically at 11:00 am, January 10, 2024, at Reserve Bank of India, Hyderabad. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Avinandan, AGM, CES. The meeting was attended by four (4) prospective bidders namely V KAN Pharma Solutions, Vinay Medical Stores, Poonam Pharma Distributers and Medicare Galaxy PPP and Officers from CES, RBI, Hyderabad viz. Ms. P Vijaya Laxmi, Manager, CES and Mr. Chaitanya S Bedekar, AM, CES.

1 Whether any exemption will be provided to the interested / prospective bidders in case they are having MSME Certification? In terms of extant instructions of Premises Department, Central Office, Reserve Bank of India regarding Procurement of Goods, Services and Works in the Bank – benefits to Micro and Small Enterprises (MSE), the MSEs having Udyam Registration Number (Udyog Aadhar Memorandum Number), irrespective of the category, are exempted from payment of cost of tender documents and submission of EMD at the time of the bidding in all procurements (goods, services, or work contracts) having an estimated cost up to Rs. 10 Lakh (including all taxes, duties etc.).
2 Whether the Bank would consider relaxation in the work experience if the annual minimum turnover is more than the required? It was clarified to the bidders that they should fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the terms and conditions mentioned in the tender document.
3 If there is any preferential treatment provided to a bidder with higher number of outlets in the city? It was clarified to the bidders that no such explicit criterion has been mentioned in the tender document.

The participants were advised to comply to the guidelines and term and conditions mentioned in the NIT and tender/RFQ documents. The participants were also advised to quote their respective bids at the earliest to avoid any last-minute technical issues.
