Representatives from two firm viz., M/s. Motwane Manufacturing Company Pvt. Ltd. And M/s. Magtech Security Systems Pvt. Ltd. have participated in the pre-bid meeting. 3. The following queries were raised during the pre-bid meeting and through mails by vendors. Before installation of the machine, the supplier/manufacturer should furnish relevant certificate from Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) of India regarding radiation Safety and complied with international standards such as USFDA and certificate of health & safety at work. The company manufacturing the equipment should have ISO certification for manufacturing and servicing of X-ray Screening machines. | | 3 | M/s Motwane Manufacturing: | | | | a) Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of undertaking similar works: The firm requested relaxation of the prior experience and turnover criteria in alignment with the Government of India's circular dated March 10, 2016, to exempt Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) and reduce the mandatory experience requirement for X-Ray Baggage Inspection Systems from the current norm to three years. | Since the proposed equipment pertains to critical security of office premises, the criteria of prior experience/turnover remain unchanged in view of Para 3 of Office Memorandum No.F.20 /2/2014-PPD (Pt.) issued by Ministry of Finance (PPD) dated September 20, 2016, for MSEs. | | | b) Have a service set up in Hyderabad for rendering after sales service: In the meeting, the firm requested to provide one month from the award of work, if the firm becomes the L-1, for establishing the service setup. | The eligibility criteria for local service setup remains unchanged. The tenderer has to indicate the service facility including the staff details as mandated in terms of para 3.15 of the tender document. | | | c) Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) ₹22,000/-: The firm requested exemption from Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) submission based on their valid Udyam and NSIC registrations as an MSE. | The tender conditions remains unchanged. | Further clarifications are as under: 1) The bidders are advised to submit the bids through the newly incorporated MSTC portal (version 3.0) only, along with the documents in support of the eligibility criteria as mentioned in NIT/tender document. 2) Bidders are advised to submit their bids well before the last day of tender submission to obviate any chance of technical glitches during uploading. 3) Bidders are advised to upload a signed copy of this minutes of pre-bid meeting. Note: Above amendments / clarifications are issued for the information for all intending bidders. Minutes of the pre-bid meeting shall form part of tender.
