The Pre-Bid meeting for the captioned tender was held on July 06, 2026, at 11:00 Hrs. Four (04) firms had participated in the Pre-bid meeting. The following officials of RBI & representative from prospective firms/bidders were present during the pre-bid meeting:

2.The following queries received via e-mail / raised in the pre-bid meeting by the prospective bidders were taken up for discussion. The clarification to queries is tabulated below:

  Query/Proposal Clarifications furnished by the Bank
1. Please specify last three Financial Years for assessing credit worthiness of the contractor and their turnover during the specified period, since audited statements for the FY 2025-26 are not available yet. Bidders are required to submit Financials/turnover certificates for last 3 years i.e. 2022-23; 2023-24; 2024-25. The turnover certificate shall be duly certified by the Chartered Accountant
2. Rates in price-bid (Part II): FOREX conversions and other variations to be considered. Firms are advised to do a fair assessment of the currency and other variations and quote accordingly.
3. Expenses related to Bank's Engineer for Factory Visit to be borne by Bank The expenses for Factory visit for Lift Inspection by the Bank's Engineer shall be borne by the Bank. Please refer to Clause No. 18 of Section III of Tender.
4. Specimen Milestone Chart: Considering dismantling, Civil, Electrical works, if 2 lifts at a time are allowed, time taken to complete the project will be 3 years. 2-year milestone can be achieved if 3/4 lifts are allowed together for replacement Minimum two (one-one for each group) & maximum 4 lift (two-two from each group) at a time can be taken. However, there will be no change in completion period of two years.
5. Proposed Payment terms: 80%+10%+10% I. 70% value of the quoted rate shall be released on pro rata basis, after equipment’s is/are tested in the factory and on delivery at site of the same together with all the ancillary items and are accepted at site by the Employer’s authorized representatives along with submission of following documents.
a. Manufacturer’s inspection and test certificate
b. Certificate that all the components, parts, subsystems, consumables etc., for successful installation, commissioning and testing of the systems including maintenance have been received at site in good condition and if any shortfall is noticed during installation, commissioning and testing they will be supplied free to the Bank.
c. Policies of insurance/ PBG as per tender conditions.
II. 20% value of the quoted rate shall be released on pro rata basis after removing the lifts and installation of lift as per milestone.
III. Balance 10% of the quoted rate on satisfactory completion of erection, testing, commissioning and handing over the system to the Bank and submission of the lift licenses from the lift inspector of Maharashtra.
6. Retention Money- 5% may not be deducted from RA bills and final bill. The bidder may submit an upfront performance bank guarantee (PBG) for an amount of 10% of contract amount. If firm want to submit upfront 10% PBG (5% for RMD+5% PBG), they may do so. Consequently, no deduction shall be made on account of RMD from the RA and final bills. Such PBG shall be submitted within 14 days of the work order and shall be valid upto DLP plus 60 days, which may be suitably extended in case of extension of time.
The terms regarding PBG for CAMC remains the same as per tender clause 14(V), section III, Part-I of tender.
7. Minimum Running account bill will be 1/10 of contract value. Minimum Running account bill shall be 1/40 of contract value
8. Site Conditions: The work has to be carried out in an occupied office Building which may restrict the availability of work fronts during working hours. The tenderers are therefore advised to plan for execution of work beyond Bank’s normal working hours and full day working on hours during the Saturdays/Sundays/Bank’s holidays subject to availability of site. The above aspect may be kept in mind while submitting the tenders. The site is available to work in office hours also. Vendor shall be intimated well in advance in case the site is unavailable due to some office exigencies. Vendors are required to plan accordingly. No LD will be imposed for such hindrance.
9. Damages to be covered by Insurance: Limited to 100% of the Contract value No changes in the criteria; However, in case of third-party liability, 5 incidents may be considered.
10. Firm must have technology to synchronize old and new lifts during the installation. Not required
11. All installation will be done by retaining the front wall of the lifts. Yes, efforts shall be made by the vendor to minimise the damages and mending them whenever required.
12. Design Criteria: Solutions for building sway, the piston effect, chimney/stack effects, and seismic control. Parameter as applicable shall be considered
13. FA integration with BMS Port should be provided for integration.
14. Blowers shall be connected through a rechargeable UPS to ensure continuous blower operation for at least 15 minutes in event of power failure Single point UPS source shall be provided by the Bank, and the connections for onward power distribution must be done by the Vendor.
15. CAR & LANDING DOORS: Minimum thickness of 1.5 mm Minimum 1.2 mm thickness is required.
16. Are Section IX Hall lantern & gongs specified to be included Not Required.
17. Fascia panels of minimum 1.6 mm zinc coated mild sheet steel shall be fitted between the header of each entrance & the sill of the floor above. Is it required? As per the IS 17900
18.  All Cables – please specify type Flame Retardant Low Smoke Halogen-Free (FRLSH) is required.
19. Online UPS or generator required for nonstop floor (6,9,12), in case the difference in heights of such floors exceed 11 m. All lifts are connected to DG set.
20. Is Air Conditioning Required in lift? Not Required.
21. Can the pit be filled, or Pit access door needs to be provided Firm is required to take necessary suitable action for the safe and successful SITC and upkeep of the Lifts. All such work is in the scope of the Vendor.
22. Hidden COP in all Lift or only fire lift? Required in all Lifts.
23. All NOCs as applicable such as Fire etc. shall be obtained and complied by the vendor To be paid and arranged by the vendor. The statutory payments will be reimbursed by the Bank on producing original receipts for the same at this office.
24. Interior design of the lift cars – please specify The lift cars shall have premium interior with diffused ceiling lights,

3. The terms, conditions and specifications of the Tender / Bid document shall continue to remain same unless otherwise stated / clarified in minutes of pre-bid meeting / corrigendum.

4. These minutes of pre-bid meeting shall form the part of tender/Bid document and Agreement / Contract.

5. The submission of bids by the bidders shall be construed to be in conformity to the Tender / Bid document and Amendments / Clarifications given above.
