In the Notification No.FEMA.70/2002-RB dated 26th August 2002 of the Reserve Bank of India, Exchange Control Department, Central Office, published in the Gazette of India Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, sub-Section (i) vide G.S.R.222(E) dated 18.03.2003, the following shall be substituted.

(i) in the title of the Regulations, for the figure '2002' the figure '2003' shall be substituted,

(ii) for the words 'Third Amendment' appearing in the title and short title, the words 'Amendment' shall be substituted.

(iii) at the end of the notification, the following footnote shall be added, namely,

The Principal Regulations were published in the official gazette vide G.S.R.No.411(E) dated May 8, 2000 in Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) and subsequently amended vide G.S.R.No.756(E) dated September 28, 2000, G.S.R.No.264(E) dated April 9, 2002 and G.S.R.No.579(E) dated August 19, 2002.'
