Lead Banks Concerned Madam/ Dear Sir, Formation of new district in the State of Assam – Assignment of Lead Bank Responsibility The Government of Assam (GoA) has notified formation of new district, viz., Bajali in the state of Assam vide Gazette Notification No. ECF-No.367433/32 dated October 11, 2023. Jurisdictional demarcation of the Bajali district was notified vide GoA Notification dated October 21, 2024.
