Background

The last volume of the publication entitled "Directory of Commercial Bank Offices in India" with reference date 31st December 2000 was brought out in CD-ROM. It was a Query-based CD for obtaining locational details of branches/offices of commercial banks functioning in India.

With a view to widen the dissemination of data the Department of Statistical Analysis & Computer Services, Reserve Bank of India, Central Office, has decided to publish the Directory in RBI web-site.
