Special Deposit Scheme 1975 - Payment of Interest
for the calendar year 2004
Please refer to our Circular CO.DT.No.15.101.001/H.3527/2003-04
dated December 30, 2003 on the captioned subject (copy enclosed for ready reference).
2. In this connection we advise that all the
Deposit Offices may be advised to pay the interest due on SDS Accounts to the
Account Holders by way of account payee cheques for the Calendar year 2004 also.
3. Please issue necessary instructions to all
the Deposit Offices to ensure disbursement of interest to the Account Holders
for the calendar year 2004 promptly in the first week of January 2005,
reiterating the instructions contained in our circular dated December 30, 2003
ibid.
